General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

360Converge enables compliance with the GDPR when we process personal data on behalf of our automotive dealership customers.
The data protection framework in the European Union (EU) maintains the important distinction between controllers of personal data, and third parties that process personal data on behalf of controllers.
In delivering our services, 360Converge is a processor, processing personal data (provided by our customers) on their behalf. The GDPR required us, and our EU customers as controllers or processors, to ensure compliance mechanisms and data protection measures.

The information you send to 360Converge

We are committed to helping you comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to privacy and data protection. We are always working to stay compliant, which helps make compliance easier for your organization. We are audited regularly by third parties, maintain certifications and provide industry-standard protections in our agreements for regional and sector-specific regulations. Our products regularly undergo independent verification of their security, privacy, and compliance controls, achieving SOC-2 certification, attestations of compliance, or auditreports against standards around the world.

Data Collection Practices

360Converge operates as an identity resolution engine, we collect multiple pieces of personal information from a large variety of sources that are already publicly available and make them available to our customers. One way of collecting public information is scanning and indexing web pages, our deep search robot continuously crawls the web and extracts names, locations, age, images, factsand other relevant information from general web documents, personal profiles, publicrecords, phone directories, blogs, news articles, scientific publications and many other typesof pages-this data is then processedand indexed so it can be searched by anyone. Other ways of collecting information is licensing publicly available information such as phonedirectories, professional listings or scanning old public archives. We always maintain high standards of ethics andcompliance to ensure we follow every applicable law and regulation; regardless of the data sourcing method we use, we maintain aclear audit log for any data added to our service to ensure we can keep track of data source quality, licensing and regulatory changes.

At 360Converge, our mission is providing easy access to true identity information. We do that by finding the real person behind the online identity so that trustworthy people could be trusted. In doing that, we maintain high standards of privacy, compliance and ethics.
The following outlines our policy for the permissible use of our services. Every customer who wish to access 360Converge services must identify themselves and the purpose for using our services and we take pride in vetting every single customer to ensure our identity solutions are used for a permissible purpose.
The requirement for purpose are based on both legal & ethical principles, below are some of the restrictions to ensure ethical use of our service:

  • 360Converge Services shall not be used in any way that violates or infringes in any way upon individual rights.
  • 360Converge Services shall not be used for sending mass unsolicited email (SPAM) or mass unsolicited phone calls.
  • 360Converge Services shall not be used for the purpose of entrapment.
